Woohoo jubs! Glad you like. It's crazy huh? Most of the eps are just as good. There's a couple of so-so ones, but they're all worth watching.

Snarky indeed. Hmmm the episodes you downloaded must be out of order then because that one comes later on the DVDs... Thanks jubs! People usually like what I recommend which is good. To be honest though I'm a little pained that midnight doesn't like Freaks & Geeks as much as I'd hoped. Who knows?

Mid, F&G isn't meant to be constant 'LOL' stuff. A lot of it is very reality based. It's only really the geeks who are funny [Bill in particular] and that's only when it's unintentional. When they're trying to be funny they're just not and that's what makes it so cringe worthy. The freaks are funny because they're just wasted all the time. Sorry I just find it really hard to fathom anyone not loving the show. I can't make you like it though, so if you don't you don't I suppose. I'm glad you like Wonderfalls though, even though I prefer F&G. Actually jubs, I just remembered that for some reason that is the way they aired the eps. I don't think they thought the 'official' second ep was strong enough after the pilot. They put them in the order they were meant to have been aired for the DVDs. They only aired four episodes on FOX before they cancelled it you know. Rude, huh?

I think I just like it less because it's 80s. One of the things I like about it though, is that I feel like it's a show from the 80s and not a show made recently to be like the 80s. There are a lot of things that I like about it, but it's not an obsession. I all the geeks and their dramas. I sometimes find the freaks irritating though. In a "I don't want to watch this because it is annoying me" way. I just keep feeling like I am 'missing' what I am meant to 'get' because I don't love it. Fox are crapfaces.

what was suppose to be the second episode? cause the stutter episode was a strong episode followin' the pilot - im half way through third(the nun one) which is abit so so.. about f&g its not constant laughter, but the funny bits are when the geeks are being funny unintentionally, especially bill, sam i just wanna strangle everytime he talks he's so cringey! midnight doesnt obsess over it, but she still likes it i dont think its a show where it appeals to everyone though.. also the new revenge of the nerds movie is using the same writers as f&g that really could be a good thing.. all they need are decent actors and pls do not add in seth cohen... i could maybe see jon heder in this though maybe even tina majorino

Awww mid I'm so glad you like it! Jubs, the second episode was supposed to be the one with the reunion and that crazy girl from Jaye's HS. It's not one of my favourite eps. That girl annoys the hell out of me. The nun one is my least favourite episode - I always skip it when I watch the DVDs. Meh, I'm over the F&G thing. Not everyone can love it - that's why it's a 'cult show' and not a massive hit the world over I suppose. There's a new RotN movie!? Since when!? Which writers from F&G? Mike White?!?! That would be great.

I would've picked the barrel episode to be the second. Reunion girl's orange dress wasn't very nicely-fitting. I didn't love the nun episode. I don't love nuns either. But I do love Eric! I actually started getting into F&G in the last eps. I didn't like the ones where there was too much focus on the freaks. Geeks rule. I can't believe the F&G creator is Mr Pool from Sabrina. And Ken Olin directed one of the episodes. So it gets a few points that I wouldn't normally give out.

Ugh reunion girl's dress was hideous! The nun episode was weird and kinda boring. Ah Eric. I love Jaye's brother though, he's so snarky - and so TALL! Paul Feig was on Sabrina? I did not know that! I love all of F&G, and that includes the freaks.

She was so bratty too. I think it's very 'filler'. I want an Eric. Aaron reminds me of an older Casey. I didn't really notice the tallness, but now that you mention it... And snarky = great in my book. And Jaye is so pretty. I want to follow her around and copy her. Yeah, Paul played a geeky science teacher. He's very funny. I liked the freaks at first, then hated them, then towards the end I liked them again. Some of their actions remind me of real-life people that I don't like?

Ugh, she was almost Madison-ish, except without the spitting in the drink thing. Yeah, 'filler' eps annoy me. VM had those too, but there was always something worth watching it for. I want an Eric too, but he might bore me after a while. He'd be too easy to boss around - I like a challenge. Hee - the Casey resemblance is all in the eyebrows! Snarky = hot. Jaye is the bestest. I love dark hair and light eyes, she's such a hottie. Mahandra [or should I say 'Janet'] is gorgeous too - and funny as hell. Paul is awesome. I should have watched Sabrina! Yeah, but that's the beauty of F&G; everyone in it is somewhat believable and that's why their actions are sometimes so heartbreaking and their flaws are so much more noticeable I suppose. Like the whole thing with Neal's Dad? So freaking sad. And Nick's relationship with his Dad is so depressing. It's such an amazing show! I loved Ken and his 'girl'friend too. So heartbreaking.

True. And true. I don't think I could get bored looking at an Eric. He doesn't seem too challenging though, you're right. It definitely is the eyebrows. Snark is totally hot. Mahandra is funny. I was obsessed with Clarissa Explains It All, and so then Sabrina obsession followed. I didn't miss an episode for like 4 seasons, and then they didn't show a lot, but then I saw the final one. I still have a lot of old Sabrina tapes. I wish it was on DVD! I did like the real-ness of F&G. I think that worked against me ing it, but I can appreciate it. Oh, and I loved Mr Rosso! I liked Ken the most out of the freaks.

Eric is extremely pretty to look at isn't he? And that cheeky little smile... I never got into Sabrina, I thought it was kinda silly and the laugh track annoyed me to no end. I'm sure it will be on DVD sooner or later. The real-ness worked against you ing it? Hmmm I'm the opposite I think. Mr. Rosso is great. Ken is my future husband. Well, not Ken - Seth Rogen. I just adore him. He's great in Undeclared too. I have a feeling you'd prefer that to F&G. I recommend it.

I certainly wouldn't have cheated on him. The laugh track sucked. [They're my pet hate] But it was still good comedy. I like reality, but at the same time I don't like things that remind me of people I dislike. Maybe I'll get Undeclared...if I can find it.

God no! How brilliant is Jewel Staite as the skanky ex though? God I love her. She's great on Firefly too. Laugh tracks are my pet hate too. That's why most of the comedies I like don't have them. Haha fair enough! You're limiting yourself a bit there though I think. Yeah, I think you'd like it - it's really funny.

I'm not up to her. I knew that she was in it though, and I figured out who she was playing. Of course I only figure these things out early when I'm not trying. Comedies that don't have laugh tracks seem to have 'different' humour too, which I like. Oooh, I remembered another reason that F&G isn't my favourite - I don't want to be any of the characters. I'll get it when Wonderfalls is finished.
