That's good - at least YBIAW isn't representative of his work as a whole. I couldn't listen to a CD full of those sort of songs. Oooh mid - I owe you a PM!

OMG mid - I'm glad you found the CD! I hate it when I lose CDs. I want my Aimee Mann Whatever album, so I can use it for your CD but it's gone forever and I can't download it anywhere! It sucks! I am just glad that I found them both before I bought new ones. I didn't want to buy them because I had the cases, but downloaded versions don't sound as good. I hope you find it or the songs BC! I had a really hard time narrowing down the 'album' JM songs for you. I think it got to like 18, so I hope they all fit.

YBIAW represents the cheesy acoustic-y part. There are a few other songs like that but they [to me] have more substance. The only YBIAW that I really like is a live version where he and his back up guitarist/singer sing parts of different songs in it.

Oooh that live version sounds cool mid. Is it true that song was written about Jennifer Love Hewitt?? Yeah, mp3s just aren't as good as the real thing, but what can you do? I usually end up downloading versions of the CDs I own and using them on mixes because I'm too lazy to rip all my CDs to my hard drive. There's too many of them. Either that or I'll download an album, love it and buy it, but then not be able to bring myself to delete the mp3s because I'm too attached. Yes, I have issues with 'saving' things. I can't believe you've chosen all the tracks already!? Your Aimee Mann one is a bitch to make. Besides, I've been distracted by the Yellow Cotton/Red Satin mix [which is gonna be awesome by the way!!!]... Anyway, I'll send you them both when they're done so it doesn't really matter what order I make them in...right?

That song was written way before they went out. A few were written about JLH though. Daughters, Split Screen Sadness, LA Song... It wouldn't surprise me if she influenced others too. I like downloading things that I already have too. But I usually put the CD versions on my iPod. I've chosen some of the tracks but still have to do the 'live' part and then put them in a good order. And I'm excited about the clothing mix. I don't care which order.

Yeah, I really like the VM mix, it's coming together really well. Plus, it's the first 'themed' VM mix I've made. Hopefully there'll be many more! I've been thinking of making a Mac one actually. Could be fun... Oooooh I forgot about the 'live' part! We'll have to make sure we sen them at the same time though. I'd hate to get mine without you having yours. JLH - meh.

A Mac one would be cool too. Synchronised sending. I don't like JLH. John did though.

Yeah, the Mac one was inspired by Poe's song Hello. There should be lots of good songs I could put on a Mac CD! Plus, I'm trying to avoid choosing the Aimee songs... can you tell? I'll get there eventually. But I can't make it as good without Whatever! Yay for synchronised sending! Not!Yay for JLH!

Yay! Just don't put it off too long. I really like mail. Except I don't really like the package person coming at 9am and waking me up to sign for them in my PJs with bed hair. No!Yay! It's like HoYay only totally not.

Bwahaha No!Yay! I won't put it off too long, promise. I'll work on it some more today. It'll have to do without the Whatever tracks I suppose... The covers are pretty much done though - and they're great. Mail is good, when it's for me, which it usually isn't. I hate signing for things. I like it when they just leave it at the door.

They don't leave it at the door here. I mean my house is far off the street and if you put the package down behind the bushy plant thing no one would see it and it'd be safe and protected, but noooo. Make us line up for ages at the stupid busy post office.
