Posting here again because my internet is so fricking slow:
Upon rewatch...
Duncan really looks like a toad in the first scene.
The FBLA really has turned into Rich Guys and their Girlfriends.
Also, I noticed cans of Skist on the table.
The whole idea of making the new Neptune as a true city of the wealthy is really interesting too. In a lot of ways it makes sense, I think. The rich are rich no matter where they are. It sucks for the poor people though.
I was reading speculation on TWoP that Goodman is actually behind this class warfare thing going on, and that makes sense too. I don't know enough to know whether he is doing it on purpose, or if he's just like that, but...interesting.
OPJ Logan coming to Veronica all defeated and asking for help really
works. I like it and I like the dynamic.
It also makes you wonder about the Donut/Meg relationship...why he's so intent on helping the 'child'. I'm not saying that he should just blow it off, but it's not like Duncan is some saint who cares for wounded animals and all.
There's also the question of why he's reading Meg's emails now, and whether the whole break in was just so he could check the vent for messages?
And I noticed before that the invitations were different - the one Veronica gave Ms Hauser had no shirt and Lamb's head stuck on.
I suppose that makes sense.
I don't know why Kendall would expect that Big Dick would leave her anything...being a trophy wife only has benefits while you're married to them [and although she's still married to him, it's not like he planned to run away]
Beaver looks about as happy as he did when his dad ignored him, when the lawyer mentioned that their real mother has control over their money. That's telling!
Logan lying about not remembering the caller makes perfect sense. I hope we get to find out what he
does remember soon!
Does that mean that he knows more than we think about the rest of it too?
I missed Backup.
And all those children Veronica babysat are absolute freaks!!! Either Meg had a way of calming freaky!Albertfalfa down or she was just
really tolerant.
Also? Veronica is wearing a water bra
and some sort of stuffing.
No wonder the plastic surgeon didn't want to give her implants.
And Logan's inspirational greeting!
The sleepover was just...too much.
Kendall trying to be all lovey-dovey with Logan...it makes you wonder how she got Big Dick interested in actually having a proper relationship with her! She wouldn't win any acting awards for that performance.
I kinda liked Logan bringing her down a bit. [But also? He's shaving his armpits again. While I have to say that it's not such a bad thing, it's still disturbing]
Loved all the Keith scenes too.
I also don't think that Lamb was abused as much as his dad was a jerk in general. Yeah, I know that sentence makes no sense.
I liked the ending scene, with the creepy music and the darkness and...all, a lot.
