Can't...close...my...mouth! I think I owe RT and the gang my first born for this! [Yeah, I know, totally appropriate ] Okay, mouth closed now: was anyone else's download really odd? It kept skipping, then repeating things, and the last 10 minutes the audio was out of sync? I got the hdtv-lol[VTV] one, if that helps. If anyone got the other one and it was okay then please tell me, so I can get that. Meg is pregnant?! NO WAY! I'm confused - was the blonde girl Celeste's daughter? Or not? WTF? I'm going to go check out TWoP to see if anyone there has made sense of it. It was certainly my favourite episode, but I think just for the fact that it's so Every scene was so shocking! Of course I'll do my complete analysis tomorrow

I don't think they really cleared up the issue of Celeste's pregnancy at all...so I guess the blonde COULD be Celeste's daughter!!! I too will be sacrificing my first born at the alter of Rob Thomas

Oh, I think I get it now: Lianne just said Celeste was pregnant, and she wasn't - she was spreading a half-truth around? And the maid girl wasn't actually Celeste's daughter but it was just a coincidence? That sort of makes sense now.

My download was just as screwy as yours Mid. So weird. I loved this ep. But I wouldn't say it was my fave just yet But SO exciting!!! So many juicy things to come! I much prefered the ending used in the episode than the alternative - its about time Meg woke up. And God DAMN I wanna know if Duncan's a dad!! I want to know what he said that day at the beach!!!! It was a great ep. I love the idea of Weevil and Logan teaming up - I've always adored eps where they work together. But I want to know what happened with Logan buying Weevil's house. They've never followed that up... So weird... Such a good episode though. Many great lines.

Also, a quick question - Why do you think Duncan didn't tell his family he was seeing Veronica? SURELY they knew that would happen!!

I was freaking out because...skipping lines! Plus it irritates me beyond belief when the audio/video is out of sync. [But it wasn't too bad, I guess] I hope Duncan isn't the dad. Part of it is just my Duncan-not-hate...it seems a bit please don't go there. But if he is the father then I really hope he didn't know about it, because breaking up with your pregnant girlfriend, then getting back together with your ex and not even being visibly upset that pregnant girlfriend was in an accident is just unforgivable character assassination. I LOVE WeeLo! I know that we aren't going to be seeing Weevil every episode, but I at least hope that they'll make it count. The Logan buying Weevil's house thing is just weird - where would he get the money from? Unless it was insurance money. But then he couldn't just kick Weevil's family out immediately. And you'd think that the house would have to be for sale for Logan to buy it. I guess stuff works differently over there? Duncan probably didn't tell his mother [is it possible that his dad knew? Jake never hated Veronica] because he knew she'd get all bitchy about it, since she never liked Veronica in the first place. But I don't think it would be that surprising. They were together for a long time before!

So I'll have to watch it again and try to remember what I said... Opening: hilarious. I'm kinda sad that we never got those baby things. Van Clemmons? Very sneaky. It's an odd, long way there scheme though. And I must say, Veronica should've seen right through it. [No magic? Heeeeee!] He was even checking that she read her mum's file! Also: it was odd that he knew who was there in 1980 without having to think at all. I know teachers have a pretty good memory for how long they've been teaching, but remembering their students from a particular year just like that? Warning warning! Lianne...hmmm. What is with this? I'm rather confused. We're suddenly told that she's not really bad on the inside, blah blah. She was a nice person before, blah blah. Did she start drinking when Keith lost his job then? And that's when all the creepy horridness started? I just don't want to feel sympathetic towards her. Plus, she didn't know who Veronica's father was. I have major issues with that. [I'm surprised that Veronica didn't try harder to read what was blacked out though] I buy that Lianne was 'cool', but I just don't like the new soppy backstory. Moorehead covering his ass by saying Lianne was all eeeevil? Works. But...wrong! Cassidy + Mac = So cute! So adorable! I love them! I pick sleek. Weevil getting what's coming to him? Interesting! I like it! I'm glad the 09ers backed Logan up. I like the flagpole thing too. Bit of a common theme at Neptune! Veronica's 90s ponytail flip? She stole it from me!
Trina as director? AHAHAHAHA. Melodramatic drama queen that she is. Also? I was better in Hamlet than any of them are. Trina falling over? Heeeeee!
What's the verdict on Kendall and Duncan? I'm still saying no. Plus, the whole cheating on current girlfriend with best friend's bed buddy while ex girlfriend is pregnant in coma etc etc etc? Nuh-huh. And, if I may, an aside: I still really don't think [or really hope] that the baby isn't Duncan's. I wrote out my reasons, but they got lost in the other post and I can't remember them now. But I don't think that Duncan is that guy who would do nothing about someone's pregnancy like that. Even if it was a one-time-accidental thing.
Anyway, back to the scene: Kendall was hilarious! Her and her Veronica-like baby hating. And I'll take the Maserati. The whole selling Big D's possessions off is just too funny.
The Trina/Kendall/Logan[/Duncan] snarktacular? Yes! Classic! It's not my favourite scene though. Logan really brought the snark, but Trina and Kendall kept up.
The Celeste rumour, made up of half-truths to give it punch but Celeste was the one getting humiliated, is realistic enough. But it sucks that Veronica was so willing to believe it.
Ah, also: I like how they throw in the subtle Veronica studying/mentioning class. I kinda agree with those who said Veronica was too Mary Sue McStudiesNotSoMuch and yet is still borderline genius.
Cassidy's little business plan is awesome. Kendall [well, Charisma] was great in that scene. The patronising, the working not to work, the bringing up Big D's proudness because she knows it's a sore spot... I'm wondering whether people would actually buy Kendall as a CEO though. She'd still have to have some sort of reputation from the Casablancas scandal.
"And that would be bad, right?" is from...where? It's so familiar and yet so unfamiliar!
The hotel Veronica/Duncan/Celeste scene? Another classic! Celeste overhearing Veronica's sarcasm is just too good. Also, Lilly getting pregnant isn't that much of a stretch - she did sleep around a lot. Accidents happen. Plus Lilly pregnant would be front page news for months. Love child = Veronica should've known right away that Celeste wasn't prom baby's mother because of her reaction to Veronica's comments though. You'd think she'd look a little shocked. Why didn't Veronica ask Astrid if her birthday was in May?
Logan going to pee at the same time? Hilarious! [Although it does happen ]
WeeLo team up? YES! I love it! So many possibilities! I'm glad that Weevil wants to get to the bottom of this.
the fight!
But...CAMERAMAN! 28:43 or so. When VC and the other guy come in to break it up. You see his arm on the right. I'm really sad, because it's so sloppy.
Hector Hector Hector I don't know if he's a part of the Felix frame/cover up though, because he really seems convinced that Logan did it. Interesting.
Veronica in the suit...Kristen looks her age there. But it works.
My scene is missing dialogue though.
The Trina hospital scene? HEEEEEEEEE! I loved the acting there.
I still don't like the soapy prom baby storyline, but then VM comes closer to making it work. If they're going to continue doing storylines like that then I suppose that's okay, as long as they keep pulling them off. I just don't care that much about Trina. [Although part of that could be due to the scene ruined by skipping and out of sync audio?] I cared a whole lot more about paternity scandals when Mac was involved.
Ms Hauser's 'I didn't tell, I swear' look in the teacher's lounge Trina confrontation scene? Hee! It must have been a hard secret to keep.
The rat? Gross! I don't get why the investigators didn't get the rat, and I don't know why Keith took it, but...I just hope they did the right thing. I guess Dick and the others could unknowingly support Keith's story that it was near the back of the bus.
Nameplate switching? 'Here's one I prepared earlier'? AWESOME!
So Abel is dead? Awww.
The Meg scene was shot well. Veronica with the baby strapped to her? Very amusing. I still stand by my disbelief of the soapy-line working well, but...I'll try to keep the faith.

My copy was also screwy really pissed me off. Sorry but I hate getting a dud copy It was an okay episode not my fav this season but good and solid in setting up some story and adding some character back into Weevil. I agree the hand in the shot is tacky mid! but since the download was bad i'm letting that one slip Everything else was entertaining.

Yeah I'm going to get the other copy after I know all my shows have finished for the month. This episode didn't really have much substance, but it was so that you didn't notice. I liked it for that quality.
