FALAFELS
3 c. cooked garbanzos 1/4 c. chopped parsley 3 tsp. chicken-style seasoning 3/4 tsp. ground cumin 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. salt 1 minced onion 3 to 4 c. soft whole wheat bread crumbs (enough to make mixture the consistency of bread stuffing)
Put garbanzos through food processor to chop. Mix with remaining ingredients. Use 1/4 cup of mixture per patty. Put on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (about 30 to 40 minutes). Serve in pita bread with humus dressing, lettuce, and tomatoes.

You can use chickpeas too. Let them soak first, dry them and whizz.

you can buy the mix at coles and you add water - let stand form into balls and voila falafels
