I never take rentals back on time. I end up with massive late fees. It's probably why I don't rent movies that often.

If you take them back like 1 minute late around here they go psycho. My dad rents things and gets them delivered.

No I think Blockbuster or someone like that does delivery. 3 movies and a popcorn? He said he gets 3 most weeks and then makes copies of them. I've thought about joining one of those homescreen type places, but...I don't know.

Homescreen's ok only worth it if you can be bothered mailing them back as soon as you're done watching them. But I do suggest signing up with all three companies for the first month free and then unsubscribing you get free dvd's that way, you can burn em too . This is what we did but then we got addicted and stuck with homescreen

I don't know if signing up for anything would be worth it for me though because I'm so impulsive. One day I feel like watching something and then for weeks after that I don't want to.

I rarely rent movies - I get a lot of my new releases from the local library for free, or just download them. Haven't seen anything brand-spanking-new in a while but enjoyed these: White Chicks -- much funnier than I'd expected Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind -- seen it 3x (once at the cinema) and will get the DVD when it's cheaper Identity -- John Cusack...yum! it's a decent thriller with an unexpected twist! Lost in Translation -- simplistic yet beautiful Girl with the Pearl Earring -- ditto above... and more of Scarlett Johannsson (I'm a wee bit obsessed with her lately ) Secretary -- kinky comedy (James Spader & Maggie Gyllenhaal - what's not to love?! ) Sorry, none of these are that recent but I highly recommend them all!

Ooooh I have to watch Girl with a Pearl Earring! I completely understand your Scarlett obsession Leonie. Did you see her on Conan the other day? God she's gorgeous. Secretary is so great. Sure, it's a little kinky, but who couldn't do with a little kink in their lives? It's also a really sweet romance story if you think about it. And ESOTSM? Fucking brilliant. PS: I enjoyed Identity too.

I watched donnie darko the other day - I bought the directors cut....I actually think the theatrical version is better hmm I might need to watch again to make sure. ESOTSM is awesome I watched monter in law last night - hmm I actually enjoyed it even though it was a little silly.

Colin and Scarlett hence my attraction to the movie, however I didn't mind Girl With a Pearl Earring it was just rather uneventful Have seen DD theatrical and loved it. I might see Monster in Law but J-Lo scares me so i may wait till DVD

*sigh* I went and saw Monster In Law yesterday it would have been a good movie if J-Lo wasn't in it. She was painful to watch, whenever she was in (IMO POINTLESS) montages I kept checking my watch to see when the movie was ending. Overacting at it's worst
