Question: Why is it that when they make us like Jackie they make us hate Wallace? He is being a jerk. And it's the week for jerks, because Beaver is being one too! Those guys and their...guyness. Apart from that it seemed to be quite a solid episode. All the right things were moving forward. 8/10?

I have a theory about beaver being a jerk but i'll keep it under my hat as it may be spoilerish. But I was so very pissed about them making Wallace a jerk I guess they want us to forget how much we hate Jackie or something it isn't going to happen everytime I see her face I want to strangle her. They better redeem Wallace big time maybe have a MotW involving him seeing some sort of hypnotist that is making him do out of character uncool things. I don't want Wallace and Jackie hooking up period it's just not right and I don't care how much of an ass they make Wallace he and Jackie are still not compatible. Yay! for brief yet still incredibly hot Lamb Totally and 8/10 for me. I really felt this episode it really felt like we were moving onto something after weeks of waiting. The end is in sight and I love it, yay! for snark not to sure about LoVe

Ooooh theories are good. Spoilerish is bad though. I think with every episode Jackie becomes more likeable, and it's like Logan where at first he was an OPJ and now he still is, but he's also misunderstood. When Jackie isn't prancing around like she owns the world she is much better. I'm against Wallace/Jackie too. She's not good enough for him. And he's acting like a fool. Lamb sure is great. We'd better be seeing a lot of him in the future. This ep definitely did feel like it was going somewhere. I didn't notice until I read something that Veronica didn't have a proper MotW! The LoVe stuff was way obvious. Are they just throwing the shippers a bone or what?! I am not anit-LoVe, but if they're getting back together I don't think it should be this season. I like that they still have feelings for each other, but Logan is being all slutty and Veronica has enough to deal with at the moment. The snark was good this week. I really didn't like some of KB's readings in other episodes, but this one seemed much better. The Veronica/Weevil scenes were all really well acted.

Plan B: A Murder Mystery... What's the matter Veronica? Thought your essay was better than Logan's? I didn't realise there was an actual Sadie Hawkins dance, so the L/V scene was slightly more obvious than I thought. Trust Logan to plagiarise.
Really, really liked the Weevil flashback scene. Worked very nicely. Nice colours! And informative. Weevil repeating a lot is unsurprising. Felix's obsession with domestic life [and being a trucker] is odd. Maybe Thumper got sick of all the mention of kids and decided to off him?
Pretty obvious from their first scene that Wallace totally isn't into buying what Jane is selling. Veronica's over the moon face sure is lovely. Jane and Veronica are nice as friends though. I hope that we get to see more of her.
Why does Veronica hate Weevil? I forget. Is it because they beat up Logan? The shocker thing was very funny.
The first time I watched I didn't really notice that Veronica had no mystery, but I still take the Weevil thing as her mystery so...
Oh, Wallace. Leave that Jackie alone! Poor rich girl Jackie.
Mac! Beaver! They make me so happysad. Really, I am amazed at how good the foreshadowing was and yet how easy it was to miss before. It could have just been me not paying enough attention [sadly, I wasn't ] but then it could just be that this episode was all kinds of awesome. The writer didn't write any episodes that I particularly loved, but I am impressed by this one. Cassidy definitely likes Mac, so it's all very odd.
Oh, and what is with Logan's jacket?! UGLY! Despite not selling my internal organs for one LoVe moment, I really, really, really like the car park scene. Just enough snark and just enough seriousness and just enough cooperation.
Woody = creeparama. His secretary makes Hannah look well fed! [And yeah, I know that it's one of the Top Models. She could be a worse actor, I'll give her that] Did he choose Logan on purpose or what? Why is Woody so keen to get Terrence cleared? Odd!
Logan/Veronica stakeout! I like! I love that in this episode they're so natural and cute. The trucker family man scared of the PCHers and hence not coming forward works nicely.
Weevil telling Veronica about Felix and Molly proves my MotW theory.
Oh Mac's hair is so cute in this scene! Veronica isn't the sluttiest person Mac knows, she's just her sluttiest friend.
Is Weevil the only person they hate enough to have scenes with Molly? I'm not quite sure what she's wearing but it's interesting. The bus truck bug set up is very clever though. I like it. I wish Weevil was around more because he's such a great actor.
Jackie needs herself a rack magnifying sweater to go over the costume she stole from a primary school's production of Aladdin! Those sleeves are nuts! She's once again the biggest unbitch by asking that guy to the dance. Oh, writers, if only you did this with Duncan.
Ooooh a signature stamp! I like it. If he wanted it to be any good he should have done it on plain white paper though. If anyone has to lift weights it should be Lamb, damn it! If anyone's arm has to be molested it should be Lamb too. Someone needs to tell Woody that dead chicks aren't funny.
Those Fitzpatricks, what will they do next? I liked the scene though. Poor Molly. Poor dead Felix. As I said, loved the bus truck bug. Love Weeronica working together. Love Keith choosing exactly the wrong moment to come in.
Lamb and Sacks crack me up. Lamb and Veronica crack me up more. Wow, this episode has it all! I didn't catch the "Well if I did it, it's outstanding" the first time. Quiet loop! Great great great scene.
I love Woody's '"Mayor" Woody Goodman' desk plate.
We're back to the Wonderfallsy sped camera movements! Yay! Gia, despite that horrible hair, is so great. Always entertaining.
Love the church and the organ and Weevil shoving an old sock in Thumper's face! The kids in the back of the van were creepy. It's not like they'd be able to tell one bald biker from another though.
I'm sad that no one is dressed up enough for the dance. I don't expect long frilly dresses or anything, but...put in some effort, kids! The cardigans are creeping me out.
Wallace! Such a jerk! Lying to your girlfriend is just as bad.
And you'd think the Casablancas house would be big enough for Dick and Beaver to be there but not see each other.
Okay, so I get the LoVe moment is time to SQUEEEE from the rooftops, but...I don't get it. Is she dancing with him because she still lurrrrves him? Because she's lonely? Because...?
So, did Weevil know that setting up Thumper would get him killed? What did he think would happen?! Those Fitzpatricks take their psycho seriously. I'm all for an eye for an eye, but not so much for violent killing being that eye...
Woody's lameass excuse smells more than a dead rat! Lucky good PIs always make backups.
Jane making a fool out of herself makes me sad. Damn you, Wallace! Jackie not taking Wallace back makes me happy. Thank you Jackie!
And from one painful conversation to another... I kinda get the feeling that Cassidy being concerned about Mac talking to Veronica is for more than just the obvious. Because if a guy doesn't want his girlfriend to talk to her friends about him then he's weird. So mean!
Of course it makes sense that since Danny works for Woody he'd be stashing Thumper and the bike and getting away with it. I love it when shows make sense!
The end scene was interesting too. Not too annoyingly cliffhanger-ish. Just enough.
Wow. Wow!
I really, really liked this episode the first time, but I think I have to say that I really, really, really loved it the second time. It's very rare that a show can do something like that. Usually once you've seen it you've seen it, and you just rewatch it for jokes or whatever. Or you rewatch it and still like it. But to see it again and like it more really impresses me.
I think I'll go for 9/10 overall since I liked it so much upon rewatching.
Once again, plenty of plot movement in all the right places. Enough of a mix between PI stuff, school stuff and relationship stuff. Some fun old characters. No filler.
Even around this time last season there were some less than stellar episodes, but the way the show is moving at the moment I am really liking and enjoying. Of course, I hope that the rest of the season makes up for such a jumbled first half/two thirds.
Oh, and despite the reservations I had about the LoVe stuff before, I didn't mind it as much this viewing. I still don't want them together yet and I still don't want them just giving in and giving the shippers what they want to see, but it felt a lot less forced this time. I'm still confused as to the characters' motivations, but hopefully that will all come in time.
Also...why do I keep writing "bus" instead of "truck"?
