Oh, another incongruity, if you will...
Evil!Beaver!timeline.
End of year 10 for Veronica, just after Lilly's death, Beaver rapes her at the party.
This rape doesn't make sense to me. I prefer [bad term, I know] to think that Beaver snapped after he thought that everyone would know Woody molested him. But obviously, if this is the way it's being written, there was something wrong from the start. Instead of putting gradual cracks in Beaver's character because he's trying to deal with having a girlfriend and a daddy who doesn't love him, they've ruined his sweet and innocent act early on.
Year 11: No eventful Beaverishness. Basically, we see that he goes along with whatever Dick says. Dick's happy to have him tag along.
Year 12: We see Beaver get ignored by his dad. We see his dad being a jerk towards him. Sympathy for Cassidy. We see him all cute with Mac. More sympathy.
But, at the start of the year he blows up the bus.
Presuming the conversation about the outing of all outings [that's clearly what it was] took place right when school got back in.
So the abuse happened a few years ago, but no one has said anything for years. Marcos and Peter are sick of it and want to come forward. Lucky is somehow involved...either Woody did something to him or he knows about it all.
Beaver blows up the bus, then gets Curly to get beaten and uses him to change the investigation.
Then Beaver sets up his little company. He starts buying everywhere outside incorporated!Neptune. Then the FBLA teacher explains what'd happen to Neptune after incorporation and Beaver looks scared.
Then Woody starts getting blackmailed with the idea that the abused boys are/were going to come forward. Beaver's voice is conveniently edited out of the tape. It's from Lucky, but was it really from Beaver?
My question is: did Beaver know that incorporation was going to screw up his real estate thing? Had he been planning the blackmail all along, or was it just something that happened at the right time and place?
The way I see it, Beaver could have been just waiting for the chance to use the information on Woody, but...did Beaver plan for this all along? Was it an accident that his real estate thing was going to fall through? It seems like it might have been.
This also explains why Peter threw out the bag of whatever he won on the excursion. And it explains why he went to the stadium for the excursion when he had no interest in baseball. Were Marcos and Peter going to confront Woody on that excursion? Did they? Is that why Woody was all angry at Terrence? [Yeah, I don't really remember what happened in that episode, but someone was yelling at someone]
Cervando was also killed in the crash, meaning that Beaver killed three birds with one bomb.
He could've known about Betina's plan and was trying to get rid of her too.
Meg and Veronica were wildcards, accidents? He had to go through with it no matter who else was on the bus. He didn't care about the teacher or the driver.
I don't know how deeply the writers plotted it all out, but if all this was foreshadowing it's very impressive. I could be connecting accidental dots or there could be something there.
Another thing: if the court didn't believe Logan and Veronica last time, who is going to believe them now?!
Although I suppose since there's no Curly or Woody any more no one can be charged with anything.
And it makes sense that once incorporation was gone Beaver stood to make millions and had no use for Woody, hence the plane going boom. I guess he figured that if he didn't get caught for blowing up the bus he could probably pull off the plane thing. No one would know.
Veronica finding out about the abuse really screwed up his whacko little plan.
